Buying online has been a trend in the recent times particularly with the advent of big brands that offer faster delivery and quicker replacements. However, purchasing from a smaller company or a relatively lesser known brand comes with its own stories of bad experiences. We have been using FB groups as a platform for sales too and there are too many cases of, “The seller disappeared after taking payment”, “Don’t trust online sellers”, “Always buy from trusted sources” and similar posts.

Woodooz Home Decor being a very humble and upcoming brand, it is quite natural that there might be some apprehensions before you hit that BUY button on our website. This is even more evident from the sort of chat conversations we have with you before you make a purchase. And so, we wanted to take this opportunity to clarify and allay your fears just so you know that we are in almost all cases on your side.

First and foremost fear - Will you even deliver the product ?

Customers ask for COD. They have the right to demand it. Given our scale and our mode of shipping, this is an advantage that we are not able to provide to our patrons now. However, we are a brand that is riding the wave of social media and word of mouth. And not delivering a product after taking payment from you is an error that we cannot afford to make as it would mean shutting shop after few months of operations. We encourage and entertain all sorts of queries before you buy your product from us. And the last thing that we want to do is lose your trust. 

What if the product is damaged on delivery ?

Honestly, we wouldn’t say our products are ALWAYS delivered without damage. However good the packing might be, once it goes out of our hands, we have no control over how it is handled. We try our best to ensure the lampshade reaches you in good shape and we always wait with bated breath to hear from the customer once the product is delivered to them. 

That said, in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, we want you to know you are completely protected. We have an exchange / returns policy that you can exercise (we have the links to the disclaimers displayed below every product description) for products damaged in transit. We have had these cases in the past and we have been very prompt in having them replaced. In each of these cases, we have tried to analyse and make sure we only rectify the packing issue, if any.

You have sent me a different product than what is in the image

This is a tricky one. And we want to address this with our product disclaimer. In short, we send you the same product that is photographed and presented to you in our website.
